Managed to put as few clips together of my recent trip to El Tur.  Have to make do with the low quality as my computer keeps braking.  Enjoy

Ireland and Rossi

Havant to been to much sailing in the UK  since I have been back. Managed to sneak in a session at Gwithian before the the BWA  Rossi and Ireland and try out my new wave board. See photo!

Events

Sadly there was not enough wind or waves in Rossi , but we managed to get an event in Irealnd.   Not my best event,  with my first heat against Proffit and having not sailed Port tack down the line for several months lead to me being knocked out early.  Still I fell I improved and will come back stronger,  especially after a month in POZO.

Turdog waiters

As well as using a turfdog out hear to help learn some new trick on the lighter days the local Waiters have been having a go, with some funny results. Three people on a turfdog with one holding the clue does not seem to work to well. I especially like the idea of still having a fag in the mouth while trying a windsurfing for the first time.

El Tur wave

We have been having a few good sessions at the wave beach in El Tur. The waves are quite onshore here, however there’s been plenty of good riding and Jumping. I have been trying some different positions for Go Prp mountings as shown in the pics.

Egypt Ell Tur

Me and Adam Sims K669 have managed to escape the cold weather of the UK and are getting a bit of training in Egypt, for the up and coming year. We have been doing a mixture of freestyle and wave sailing at the two different spots hear in El Tur, getting the best of both disciplines. Hears a few photos of a full power 3.7 day we had a few days ago.

Portsmouth Wave

I was asked to come down to the Portsmouth SWA wave this year, to help out with some judging.  No wind , apart from marginal conditions for a brief half an hour, glad I didn't rig up. We managed to run a small turfdog event to make up for the lack of sailing.  Plenty of fun and the usual SWA banter was had  by all on the sunnny days.

Take a look at this video I made of the even.

Windless activitys

The sail at K-bay was not so good as the prdicitons.  With the forcast at the moment, the wind never seems to come through. I hope this chages soon.  In the mean time I have bee trying to find other ways to parcitce.  This one involivng a Turfdog and a skate park.   With a little practice may be able to hit the top of the quater pipe.

K-bay 25/02/10

Had a little surf at K-bay today.  Bench was firing but closed as the military firing range was open, so surfed the Ledges. Started to try out my new go pro with little success, many good shots and head cams make your neck kill when surfing.   Was good to get out.  Hopefully get out for a good sail there tomorrow.

Highcliff 24/02/10

Finally managed to get a session after 2 months off the  Highcliff had a fair bit of swell, but  was really light.   Got some good workings when the wind shut off, much to the amusement of Steff and Sarah videoing.  They decided it probably was not worth the ice cream headache. Defiantly was worth it for some good rides.  Hears some freeze frames of the session.
